The Delhi Belly starlet Poorna Jagannathan is the new face of PETA. After roping several celebs to promote their cause, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have got another sexy vegetarian to speak for them.

Actress Poorna Jagannathan launched PETA’S Pro-Veg campaign in Mumbai at The Bombay Presidency Radio Club, Kolaba, and revealed that she is a vegetarian and she stands by that diet. She also spoke in favour of vegetarianism as the right choice of diet, “It’s healthier, compassionate and kinder way of living.”

PETA approached her for the campaign after learning that she is a vegetarian, and she happily agreed to be part of their campaign which gave her a chance to show support for the animals.
