Rajesh Khanna condolence meet

The biggest names from the film industry -- Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Amitabh Bachchan -- paid their respect and condolences to Bollywood’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna who died yesterday, Wednesday, at the age of 69, following a prolonged illness! Along with the above mentioned names, Rajesh Khanna’s son-in-law Akshay Kumar was also spotted at Ashirwad, the deceased superstar’s bungalow in Mumbai.

Others spotted were Abhishek Bachchan, Dharmendra, Imran Khan, Govinda, Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, and Malaika Arora.

Shahrukh Khan wrote on Twitter: “Mom & me use to sit & watch Mr.Khanna's films back to back.Whenever life felt tough u made us feel how love could change it all. will miss u.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan revealed what the last words of Rajesh Khanna were, and wrote in his blog: “As I sat at his home this afternoon, to pay my respects, soon after learning of his passing away, a close functionary of his, came up to me and told me in a choked voice what his last words were -- “time ho gaya hai ! Pack Up !”
