Sonu Nigam’s mother’s funeral

Bollywood celebs Manoj Bajpayee, Sajid-Wajid and Aditya Narayan attended the funeral of Sonu Nigam's mother at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai, on Saturday noon.

Manoj Bajpayee wrote on Twitter: “Dear friend sonu nigam's mother passed away after battling with cancer.may her soul rest peace!take care of yrself sonu!”

Well, Sonu Nigam was supposed to perform at SRCC’s college fest, Crossroads, on 2nd March; however, owing to the demise of his mother, he, understandably, could not. The official FB page of Crossroads posted: “Due to the unfortunate demise of Sonu Nigam's mother, he won't be able to perform tomorrow. May her soul rest in peace.”

Sonu Nigam’s mother, Shobha Nigam, 63, died after prolonged illness.
