'Midnight's Children' premiere

Author Salman Rushdie, actors Shriya Saran, Rahul Bose, and Shahana Goswami, and director Deepa Mehta, were clicked at the premiere of the film Midnight's Children held at the PVR Cinemas at Phoenix Mall, Mumbai.

Also spotted were Konkona Sen Sharma and Yuvraj Singh.

Shriya Saran interacted with the media and said: “It’s a film which is told from the heart; it’s cinema’s love letter to India. Deepa has given her heart and soul to it and we all have worked really hard.”

She added: “We believe in the film, we believe in the simple love story and I just hope it does well.”
