Gangs Of Wasseypur press meet

Anurag Kashyap is thrilled and excited to showcase his film Gangs Of Wasseypur at Cannes Film Festival. The director was with the star cast of the film at the press meet.

Cast of the film Manoj Tiwari, Richa Chadda, Piyush Mishra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi attended the press meet along with Anurag Kashyap. The director even posted an image from the event on twitter. He wrote, “The entire cast of #GangsofWasseypur on Sardar Khan's jeep!!” You can catch the glimpse of the jeep in this gallery.

Gangs of Wasseypur (GOW) will premiere in the Directors’ Fortnight section in Cannes. Directors’ Fortnight is a non-competitive section at the fest.

The film is about the coal mafia in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. It is slated to release on June 22.
