Shahrukh Khan at press meet

Shahrukh Khan conducted a press meet at Mannat to clear the air about the Wankhede brawl. Talking at the press meet, Shahrukh Khan clarifies that he was angry but not drunk.

The actor hit back at the Mumbai Cricket Association, saying he was not drunk during the alleged brawl between him and the MCA officials and got into the spat only after his kids were “manhandled”. Shahrukh said that the officials were “equally rude”, and they should apologize to him.

The ugly incident took place Wednesday night after his team beat Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League match at the stadium. Shahrukh Khan and his entourage wanted to celebrate after the presentation ceremony but he was not allowed to do so, officials said. He allegedly misbehaved with an elderly guard and pushed him. When Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials intervened, he is said to have abused them. A decision on a lifetime ban on Shahrukh Khan entering Wankhede stadium would be taken only after meeting with the officials, says the union minister and MCA president Vilasrao Deshmukh.
