Several noted Bollywood celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Arjun Rampal were spotted at the funeral of cinematographer Ashok Mehta, held in Mumbai yesterday.
Ashok Mehta was reportedly suffering from lung cancer and passed away on 15 August!
Priyanka Chopra wrote on Twitter: “RIP Ashok mehta.. Used to fondly call him chachu.. Indias Pioneer cinematographer..Such fond memories of him. Ur legacy lives on chachu!”
Arjun Rampal wrote on Twitter yesterday: “Finished paying our last respects to the legend Ashokji Mehta, all people present were all who have been connected to each other by this amazing soul. Peace be with you Ashokji.”
Shekhar Kapur, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sanjay Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, and several other celebs also attended Ashok Mehta’s funeral!
