It was quite a pleasant surprise for us! Sridevi and Sonam Kapoor were spotted at a hotel event in Hyderabad along with Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Wearing a white saree with a dash of red, Sridevi was an epitome of elegance. Her fashionista niece Sonam Kapoor was no different. She matched up Sridevi in class and grace.

Sonam Kapoor has attributed her fashion and style sense to her aunt and veteran yesteryear diva Sridevi. At the event which was to announce the opening of a new Park Hyatt in the city of Hyderabad, both the ladies dazzled in their wonderful attires.

Sonam was wearing an awesome Anamika Khanna creation with kundan jewellery, while Sridevi was in a prettiest of Manish Malhotra saree with intricate thread work on her blouse, and she styled her hair in a loose bun. Her daughters Jhanvi and Khushi were also with her. Like mother, like daughter! Jhanvi went for an off-shoulder dress and slight wavy curls.

Actresses like Jaya Prada and Hema Malini too were part of the grand event, but none left a mark with their sartorial choices like Sridevi. Here a few images of Sonam Kapoor and Sridevi from the Park Hyatt Hyderabad inauguration:
