Nude is the skin, but for Mallika Sherawat it became second skin. Mallika yet again made waves at Cannes when she chose a full backless gown by designer Ali Mahdavi to attend the premiere of ‘Madagascar 3’. Indeed it was a risqué look at the red carpet with loads of skin show from the side and back. The make-up, too, was as dramatic as the dress. The winged eyeliner and a neat updo in the 70s bouffant style was something we never saw on Mallika before. Also catch her hooded, body-hugging Ali Mahdavi dress at amfAR.
